Crafted in Sakai, Japan—a city with over 600 years of blade-making tradition and a legacy rooted in samurai sword craftsmanship—this knife is the product of generations of refined technique. The 45-layer Damascus steel blade is hand-folded and hammered to reveal a ripple pattern with exceptional strength and beauty.
At its core is AUS10 steel, prized for its perfect balance of razor-sharp precision, long-lasting durability, and outstanding corrosion resistance. It’s tough enough for daily use, yet refined enough for serious cooking.
The burnt oak handle is finished with lacquer, enhancing its grip, water resistance, and longevity.
